How do I replace and repair the USB charger port on my PARTY BEAT PULSE wireless Bluetooth speaker?

Is it purely charging or could it be data too?
Some chargers negotiate a higher charge rate which requires a data cable and subsequent connections.

How are you at soldering surface mount devices?

Can you disassemble it?

Would it be acceptable to have a cable permanently connected?

Otherwise, don't even try.
You need tools and experience, or you will end up messing it.
